We have some of the most deprived areas in the U.K. in our town with places that are within the top 20% for poor health in the U.K. others in the top 40%.
If we as individuals want to be healthy we cannot just look inward, we have to consider public health and all the wider determinants that interactive to keep us healthy
If everyone did one thing in our community to improve public health it could have a phenomenal effect on all our health. Health inequality must change. Please consider how you could make a difference for others.

We live in a beautiful place, we should be a blue zone like Sardinia not one of the most unhealthiest places to live in the U.K. I believe our health can be a good one. We can expect to live well, stay active and enjoying a happy life into a ripe old age but it takes everyone to have health. It’s time to care about outside our bubbles. #publichealth
