Exercise for your brain


I loved watching this TED talk.


Exercise isn’t just for strength, cardiovascular health or sports performance it’s also good for your brain. A stronger healthy brain gives you the best chance against dementia and improves your attention and focus. It also releases happy hormones so you think healthier thoughts.


If you need help returning to exercise Dorset Physio can help you with that and design you a return to fitness or gain confidence in your movement program. We also have rehab classes and clinical Pilates classes, so that you can learn how to move safely under our supervision and clinical guidance.


The word gym I think is misleading. It conjures up one image, instead let’s see them as movement centres, a community hub that help you stay healthy and positive. Through movement and socialising we can create a positive healthy future for you.
